Entwicklung komplexer Algorithmen zur Effizienzsteigerung urbaner Verkehrsnetze durch dynamische Datenanalyse.

TV Tower
Schwerin
Mathematical-abstract visualization of the tower’s structural logic and characteristic geometry.

Software Development
Interactive development and deployment of software solutions for application-oriented problems.

Space Science
Research into motion control for autonomous systems and the 3D printing of extraterrestrial habitats. Habitats on the Moon and Mars remain a major challenge for long-term crewed missions. We model and develop tiny rovers capable of using lunar and Martian regolith to 3D-print these habitats.
Our Projects (Selection)
Discover our current projects and mathematical visualizations at the Institute for Applied Mathematics. These projects bridge the gap between technical precision and artistic abstraction.

3D-CAD
Beach Hotel
Perspective exterior visualization of a historic structure for mathematical analysis of its form.

Mathematical
Modeling
Development of mathematical models for optimization across a wide range of applications and the analysis of statistical data.

Tiny Satelites
In 2024, the world’s first wooden satellite was built in Japan. Together with our participants, we are modeling and building Schwerin’s first wooden satellite, testing it, and analyzing the data collected.

Spa Hotel-Revitalization
CAD-basierte mathematische Nachmodellierung und VR-Entwicklung für einen Lost Place am Schweriner See.

Game Development
Many industrial applications draw on technologies and methods developed in the gaming industry. We teach mathematical applications in game development and make our interactively developed software available for download.
